Mungers Management Lessons

Charlie Munger is best known for being Vice chairman at Berkshire Hathway and also being mentioned as the backbone of Berkshire as well. He wasn’t great at what he did by luck. He was a master at time management. Here are some key lessons from Charlie Munger that can improve your time management.

Step 1.) Charlie only touched things once. Once something hit his desk, it was finished leaving his desk. It wasn’t piled on-top of other “to-do” papers and it wasn’t stashed away in a drawer. He got it done right then and there. Step 2.) He listed the top six things he needed to get done that day. Although he might get busy doing other work, he would finish whatever six things were written. It helped him keep his discipline and stay ahead. Step 3.) Charlie Munger would allocate how much time he had to do each task. Step 4.) Next he would write down his priorities list in his busy schedule and find time to do those tasks. He would purposefully do that because now, he would visualize and see it all day. Step 5.) Charlie Munger would prioritize, he would get the most important things done first. Step 6.) Last but not least, he would ask “Will it hurt to throw this “to-do item” away?”

You’re welcome! Now you can manage your time like a billionaire.
